The Pantograph engraving machine is made up of four horizontal arms and holds a diamond cutter.
Moving the end of one bar over the outline of the brass plates causes the cutter on the connected bar to duplicate the same shape traced by a diamond pointer.
In the engraving video above you will see how a trophy cup is updated by adding a name and date.
The pictures show the machine and brass plates used to trace the letters. The cup is held in place with cones and a vice grip.
